LOCATION: 
CC Africa’s Klein’s Camp is situated deep in the heart of the game-rich northern Serengeti in Tanzania – right off the beaten tourist track. Its 10 000-hectare (24 800-acre) private wildlife concession – leased from our Maasai landlords – is allotted for the exclusive use of the camp’s 20 guests, offering you the ultimate personal Tanzanian safari.
With Kenya’s Masai Mara National Park to the north and the Serengeti to the west, Klein’s is one of the most strategically positioned wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The camp is set on the edge of the Kuka Hills, commanding breathtaking views of the valley through which hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra migrate, in addition to excellent year-round game viewing. Action-packed night game-drives and extensive bush walks into the Serengeti are unique in Tanzania and an absolute highlight.

NUMBER OF ROOMS & DESCRIPTION:
Klein’s camp, made of local rock and thatch with rich wooden floors and serene, classic interiors, reminiscent of the distant days of exploring safaris, is composed of eight twin bedded cottages with en suite bathroom (shower and w/c) and private verandah.

RESTAURANTS & BAR:
The public areas of Klein's camp also have stunning views of the valleys below. The camp has a large bar/living area a short walk downhill from the dining room. A large fire place graces the dining area which is elevated above the lounge area, and a short walk from the reception and curio shop and gallery. The camp also boasts a swimming pool and leisure deck.

Exhilarating day and night game-drives
Expert CC Africa rangers and guides will lead you on interpretive game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles in Klein’s private wildlife concession and into the Serengeti National Park – a photographer’s dream. Action-packed night game-drives are unique to Tanzania, offering guests extraordinary game viewing from lions or leopards hunting to an array of nocturnal species such as genet, civet and owls etc
Interpretive bush walks
Klein’s is the only camp in Tanzania to offer exciting one- to three-hour wilderness walks led by skilled CC Africa guides and Maasai trackers. Views on the crest of the Kuka Hills are exceptional – thousands of buffalo and elephant herds may be seen grazing in Klein’s private concession or in the Serengeti to the west. Learn more about Maasai medicines made from trees, plants and seeds, and view spectacular birdlife including the magnificent Verreaux black eagle.
Maasai cultural visits
Visits to local Ololosokwan Maasai manyattas offer a rare insight into the ancient customs of tribal life.
