Known fondly as ‘The Kili’, this hotel is a popular landmark in the city, a reminder of the region’s elegant colonial heritage and a favoured meeting place of discerning locals as well as visitors in town. The hotel was totally rebuilt to open as a Kempinski in August 2005.

LOCATION: 
Located in Dar Es Salaam, the commercial centre of Tanzania, on the shores of the Indian Ocean and a perfect starting point for those embarking upon the famous safari trails in the region.

NUMBER OF ROOMS & DESCRIPTION:
All guest rooms and suites are elegantly appointed with tropical interiors, rich timber floors with brightly accented fabrics, reflecting the colours of Africa and its people. Rooms and suites are equipped with both high speed and wireless internet access, international satellite LCD TV with channels, multilingual telephone voicemail, tea and coffee making facilities, in room safe and mini-bar, 24-hour room service, laundry/dry-cleaning service, bathrobes, shoe shine service, make-up mirror and hairdryer and a deluxe range of bathroom amenities.

RESTAURANTS & BAR:
The hotel features 2 restaurants; an all day dining restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. In addition it has 3 bars, the ‘Bar Lounge’, the ‘Pool Juice Bar’ and the ‘Roof Bar’.
