Known fondly as ‘The Kili’, this hotel is a popular landmark in the city, a reminder of the region’s elegant colonial heritage and a favoured meeting place of discerning locals as well as visitors in town. The hotel was totally rebuilt to open as a Kempinski in August 2005.

All guest rooms and suites are elegantly appointed with tropical interiors, rich timber floors with brightly accented fabrics, reflecting the colours of Africa and its people.
