LOCATION: 
The lodge is set on the side of one of Arusha's characteristic volcanic hills and as you look out over the beautiful valley with views of Meru and Kilimanjaro behind, it is hard to believe that you are so close to town. 

NUMBER OF ROOMS & DESCRIPTION:
This nice little lodge is a reasonable lower cost option in Arusha.  There are presently 12 rooms, all with twin beds that can be made up as doubles, en-suite bathrooms and private verandah.  We preferred the rooms lower down on the slope because the verandahs are more private. The rooms are quite stylish in an environmental kind of way, but guests should be aware that the structure is quite open to the elements and insects, so earplugs and net-tucking are recommended for the faint-hearted.

RESTAURANTS & BAR:
The restaurant and bar areas are located in a single central building.  Upstairs the bar is a cool place to hang out, with great views of the mountains on a clear evening.  Downstairs, the restaurant is very pleasantly laid up. The food here is simple and good.
